• A minimum score of 40% is required in both Mathematics and Science.

b) ITI Category:

• Candidates must pass the relevant trade test from an institution accredited by NCVT or SCVT.
• Candidates must achieve a minimum of 50% in the ITI examination.
• Must have completed Madhyamik/Class X or equivalent with at least 50% marks.

Selection Process for Yantra India Ltd Ordnance Factory Apprentice Recruitment 2024

The selection is based on merit and trade preference. Distinct merit lists will be created for Non-ITI and ITI candidates.

1. Non-ITI Category:

• The merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in Madhyamik (Class X).
• The marks will be calculated as per the aggregate score in all subjects or the best of five, following the candidate’s board criteria.

2. ITI Category:

• The merit list will be prepared by averaging the percentage of marks obtained in both Madhyamik (Class X) and ITI.
• For calculating Matriculation percentage, marks entered in the online application will be used. For ITI, the marks mentioned on the final/provisional certificate will be considered.

3. Tie-Breaking Criteria:

• In case of identical scores, the older candidate will be preferred.
• If birth dates are also the same, preference will be given to the candidate who passed Matriculation in an earlier year.
• If both are identical, alphabetical order of candidates’ names will be used.

4. Document Verification and Medical Examination:

• Provisionally selected candidates will be invited for document verification and a medical examination.
• Candidates who pass the medical examination will be eligible for training.
